It's getting really frustrating to get students to stop hitting and smacking the crap out of each other when that's precisely what the teachers do to them. If they aren't rocking their favorite bamboo sticks, the teachers smack them flat across the back. It's so loud.
*** One of the Korean teachers just brought 4 girls into my class and is SCREAMING at them. She's slamming doors and screaming so loud it scared the hell out of me. This is not uncommon. She'll probably start crying soon, well, the whole lot of them ***
Also, how good of an idea can it really be that the student body of a middle school are all running around with their own, individual box cutters in their pencil cases? Yeah, I didn't think so either.
Oh man, she's still screaming ... is duck and cover a good approach?
